The Benefits of Custom Dry Transfers Over Stock Sheet Lettering

Updated: Jul 29, 2021

There are vast differences between our custom dry transfers and ‘off-the-shelf’ dry transfer lettering such as Letraset lettering.

If you’ve used pre-made dry transfer lettering before, you’ll be familiar with the challenges they bring not only in terms of the limited choice of styles but also the application process.

Stock sheet lettering is a good choice for the more basic of projects. These sheets will provide you with dry transfer lettering but you will be limited by font, size and colour.

Other main benefits to customised dry transfers:

Made to your specific artwork

Unlike pre-made dry transfer sheets, our dry transfers are completely customised to your artwork. You’re not limited to basic lettering - the dry transfers will match exactly to your brand colour palette, font and styles.

Made to order

As our dry transfers are made from scratch for each individual order, they won’t be sat around on the shelf for months before they reach our customers. The longer dry transfers are sat about not being used, the more likely they will be harder to rub down or they will crack when applied.

Eliminates the difficulty of lining up individual letters

Off-the-shelf sheets will provide individual letters and symbols, meaning it is down to you to attempt to line them up accurately when applied - which is no easy task. With customised dry transfers, we can provide the full piece of artwork in one piece so applying the dry transfer decal is as simple as it can get.

Exact colour matching

Our custom dry transfers can be supplied in any colour. We can match every decal to any Pantone colour, with inks and lacquers being mixed by hand to get the exacting finish.

Range of styles

The clue is in the name. Customised dry transfers are exactly that, customised. We can produce a range of dry transfers in any colour, and size and in a choice of styles and finishes, including metallics, pastels and foils.
